Midwest Parent Educators

The Home School Mom

Learning an instrument is never an easy process, but it's extremely rewarding. It teaches patience, perseverance, discipline, and so much more.
KCViolinist provides homeschool students the opportunity to explore the arts, and learn how to collaborate with other like- minded students their own age through music and community.
With a degree in music and a background in classical violin, viola, fiddle, improvisation, and more, I give students the opportunity to explore many styles of music to find the style(s) they love and will enjoy for the rest of their lives.
Private and group lessons are offered in Violin, Viola, Fiddle, Music Theory, Composition, Music Appreciation, and more.

I believe my job as a music teacher is to understand and teach each student the way they learn best, and to help

them understand and embrace the joy of making music!
